Conditions Of Hire & Purchase

Complete the enclosed order form and send it to us as soon as possible along with a 50% security deposit. Minimum order value £50. Cheques should be made payable to “Goodwilles”, and the order should be signed by an officer of the organisation. Payment for the hire is due either by cheque 14 days prior to the event or in cash when the equipment is collected; the security deposit will be returned to you the following week after the equipment has been returned in good condition. Hire charges shown are for one days hire (9am until 6.30pm). Longer hiring’s are negotiable.

Cancellation of Orders

Cancellation of a confirmed order will result in the loss of the security deposit. Cancellation within one month of the date of the event renders the hirer responsible for the full hire charge of the equipment unless we are able to find an alternative hirer.

Loss and Damage

We regret that no liability can be accepted for any injury or loss resulting from the use of the hired equipment once it has left our premises.

Please ensure that you have insurance cover for public liability, theft and damage to the equipment during the hire period.

You should provide at least £1 million public liability for your event.

The hirer is responsible for the cost of any repairs or damage that occur during the hire period.

Please report any fault in the equipment so that it can be rectified for the next hiring.

Inflatables

Please ensure that whoever unfolds the inflatable is responsible for refolding it as they must be returned correctly folded or a refolding charge of between £30 to £50 will be applied (depending on the size of the inflatable).

Health and Safety

We follow Health and Safety guidelines when writing the instructions supplied with the equipment. Please ensure that the operator reads and then follows the supplied instructions carefully. All our electrical equipment is professionally tested.

Collection and Return

Collection is by appointment either from the shop or our warehouse (see map). Normal collection/return times are Friday and Saturday from 9.00am to 6.00pm and Sunday from 10.00 to 10.30am and 5.30 to 6.00pm. Equipment should be returned on the same day, unless otherwise agreed in advance. Late returns or overnight hiring’s will attract an additional 50% hire charge. Deliveries or the hire of a trailer may be possible-please enquire about charges.

Purchase Orders

Purchase orders should be paid for in advance. Please order at least two weeks prior to your event.
